"If You Can't Be Mine" on Fox's Monarch

Tune in to episode 7 of Fox TV’s Monarch featuring Susan Sarandon and Trace Adkins to hear a song called "If You Can't Be Mine", which I co-write with Jessica Clemmons and Jeff Cohen. It was recorded by Jess & the Bandits back in 2015, and it will be airing as part of the show’s soundtrack on the episode at 8pm Central/9pm Eastern tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct 25th).

Songwriters grant licenses for the use of their songs on TV shows with very little detail provided, so we are generally not told HOW the song will be used. It will likely be a small clip of the song in the background, but I really have no idea what the placement will be - that's the fun of it!
