Victoria Banks Performs at Prestigious Bluebird Cafe

Victoria Banks joined fellow songwriting elite last night at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. In a 25 year tradition for which The Bluebird is famous, Victoria led the round with Dave Berg ("Moments"), Tia Sillers ("I Hope You Dance") and Mark Selby ("Blue On Black"). The charismatic combination of experience and camaraderie set the stage for an unforgettable evening of great stories and even greater music.

"There's something incredibly special about the Bluebird," says Victoria. "There's a tradition there, an emotion there that you can't find anywhere else. No matter how often I get the chance to play there, I always get butterflies. It's an honor just to be invited, and when I can share an evening at the Bluebird with my fellow writers, my friends, the experience is even more special."

Victoria's performances of the evening included many of her penned hits, among them "Saints & Angels" (Sara Evans), and "Come On Over" (Jessica Simpson).

Celebrating 10 years as a successful songwriter in Nashville, Victoria is set to release a highly anticipated new album early 2009.

"I'm so excited about this next phase of my career. I've been writing five days a week in Nashville for the last 10 years, and I'm ready to get out on the road, to perform, to have people know me not only as a writer, but as an artist and singer as well."
